Starbucks and the pigeon incident

I was reading an article about voice performance while sitting at the Starbucks on Cornwall and Yew when I heard a banging noise and looked up to see a pigeon struggling to get out of the coffee shop. What a scene! It reminded me of a day in childhood when I was living in Iran and the same thing happened. I woke up to see a little bird so vigorously banging its body against the window to get out. My impulse took over the matter. I walked over to the pigeon and after exchanging a few ideas with the manager to help the situation ,which were all rejected I might add, I decided to take the pigeon out myself with my bare hands. What a feeling! I felt so amazingly focused and primitive in my intentions. So I did and after losing a few feathers here and there, the pigeon returned to its freedom and I received a few hand claps and words in exchange. It's curious to see when people just don't act on their impulses and freeze in a moment!
